Factorial Analytics turns manufacturing data into dashboards, visualizations, queries, and alerts. Factorial provides a catalog of built-in analytics that organizations can use as-is or customize for their own operations.
Dashboards and Visualizations
Dashboards combine related metrics and visualizations into a reusable view. Use the built-in dashboards to explore common manufacturing questions, or customize them to reflect the processes and measures used by your organization.
Ad Hoc SQL Queries
Ad hoc queries provide direct SQL access to Factorial's analytics data. The analytics schema is separate from the operational database schema exposed internally by the application. It is organized for analysis and includes denormalized data to reduce the number of joins required for common queries.
Query-Based Alerts
A query-based alert runs a saved SQL query on a configured schedule. When the query returns one or more rows, Factorial creates an analytics notification and includes the returned data. When the query returns no rows, it does not create an alert.
This makes it possible to monitor conditions that are specific to an organization, such as overdue work, unexpected process values, or inventory below a defined threshold.
