Version Pinning ​

Version pinning is an Enterprise feature that controls when an organization adopts a new Factorial release. It gives larger organizations time to validate changes, update internal instructions, and train users before introducing new functionality.

Update Modes ​

An Enterprise organization can choose between two update modes:

  • Latest version keeps Factorial on the newest available release.
  • Pinned version keeps Factorial on a selected supported release until the organization chooses another version.

Pinning does not make a release immutable. Factorial may apply urgent bug fixes or security updates to an older supported release when necessary.

Moving to a New Version ​

Select a newer supported version when the organization is ready to adopt it. Review release information and complete any required validation or training before changing the pinned version.
