Getting Started

  Table of Contents

Factorial connects product definitions, manufacturing procedures, work execution, inventory, and history in one traceable system.

Core Workflow

  1. Define products and their components with parts and EBOMs.
  2. Describe repeatable manufacturing work with versioned procedures.
  3. Specify the materials required by each procedure with part requirements and MBOMs.
  4. Schedule and execute released procedures through work orders.
  5. Track the resulting material through inventory and inspect its history.

Explore Factorial

New to Factorial or to tracking manufacturing work in software? Read Factorial 101 first for the core concepts in plain language. Use the documentation sidebar to explore each product area. Start with Parts and EBOMs to define what is built, or Procedures to define how work is performed. Add and configure users to collaborate with if you haven't already.

Send Feedback

To tell us about something broken, confusing, or missing, or something you like, select Have feedback? in the bottom right corner, describe it, and select Send (or press Cmd+Enter or Ctrl+Enter). It goes straight to the Factorial team along with your name, email, and the page you sent it from.
