Favorites and Views
Table of Contents
A favorite provides a personal shortcut to a particular Factorial page. Favorites appear in the left navigation sidebar. A saved view preserves the configuration of a list of Factorial items, called a collection. Together, favorites and views make frequently used information easier to return to without navigating from the main collection page or rebuilding filters.
Favorites
On supported entities, select the star on an item to add it as a favorite.
Use a favorite for a specific record that needs frequent attention.
Views
A saved view records the active filters, grouping, and display mode for a supported collection, such as tasks, procedures, work orders, or queues. A view is accessible only to the owner unless it is explicitly made shareable across the organization. Custom views can be favorited themselves, so that they are quickly accessible from the left sidebar.
Saving a View
Configure the collection, open the ellipsis menu in the upper-right corner, and select the option to save the view. Enter a name that describes the records or workflow represented by the configuration.
Open Views in the sidebar to access the saved views available to you.
